In-form York City were the visitors today at the Elgoods Brewery Arena. In a game which Kettering largely dominated, York took all three points with their only effort on target from Michael Rankine after 16 minutes. Whilst the Poppies poor home run continues they were applauded off the field today for 90 minutes of sheer effort which went unrewarded.

Hillier Cup - Kettering Town 0 Corby Town 2Kettering Town and Corby Town tonight met at the Elgoods Brewery Arena, in the semi final of the Northants Hillier Cup, to earn the right to play either Desborough Town or Daventry Town in the final. The game ended in a 2-0 win for Corby with goals from Jason Lee after 5 minutes and Phil Gulliver after 57 minutes. Both teams set out to play football although the 90 minutes was a low key affair.

Club News Monday 1st FebruaryToday both Nathan Abbey and Jordan Hadfield have signed contracts with the Club until the end of the season.

We are in discussion with Kidderminster Harriers about Damian Spencer, and also Peterborough United concerning Kwesi Appiah with a view to both loan deals being extended, and further news will forthcoming within the next 10 days.

The game at Rushden and Diamomds on Saturday 27th February will now have a 12 noon kick off on Police advice....

Corby game confirmedWith Corby having been eliminated from the F A Trophy, the Hillier Cup Semi Final will go ahead at the Elgoods Brewery Arena next Tuesday Evening, 2nd February at 7.45pm - weather permitting.

On Saturday next,6th February, it will be third placed York City who are the visitors for our first home BSP fixture of 2010, and this should be the BSP game of the day.
